Photo of the Day — Day 224

In a little more than a month, S. and I will be married.  I posted a photo of her engagement ring in the early days of the photoblog, so it seemed only natural to post the follow-up, as it were, a photo of her wedding band.  Her engagement ring is an antique, a 1920s era piece, that we found at the Jeweler’s Eye (http://www.jewelerseye.com/index.html), S.’s favorite jewelry store.  Since they do custom work, they were more than happy to design a band to fit in the style of her engagement ring and to contour it to fit.  They managed to dig up a charming box for it, too, and now S.’s wedding band is sitting in a drawer, waiting to be placed on her beautiful hand.
